Howl's Moving Castle Series Book Sleeves

I created book sleeves for the series, Howl’s Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones. These books take place in a magical world that brings heartwarming stories to readers.

I did research on the previous book covers and they had beautiful illustrations. But those book covers looked like they were targeting an older teen audience.  However, the age range for this series is 8 to 12 years old. I created my designs to target that age range. I simplified down the illustrations and used bold colors to grab your attention. The objects on the covers represent the key elements that make up each story.
