Doctor Who Toy Package

The goal of this project was to recreate a package for a toy and fix the problems that the current packaging had. I chose this Doctor Who Micro-Figurine Toy that was very interesting to me because it had all 11 incarnations of the Doctor. They had background information and years on the different incarnations.

My biggest problem with the original packaging is that they are selling this to young children but not many kids have seen the original episodes of Doctor Who. When I bought this toy it was at Barnes & Noble so I changed the target audience towards people in their 20’s and older who have seen or have grown up on Doctor Who. My design is more sophisticated and less childish. I changed the packaging to be more horizontal to go along with this time line feel with the history. And when you pull out the holder with the Doctors, you are revisiting each regeneration.
